    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug with Bold Decoration. 

     

    The decoration indicates that this is the work of Noah Furman of Cheesequake, New Jersey in the mid 19th century (M. Lelyn Branin, The Early Makers of Handcrafted Earthenware and Stoneware in Central and Southern New Jersey, p. 191-193).

     

    Dating about 1850, this beauty features a Delicate Floral with 4 Leaves and 2 Small and 2 Large Blossoms-- all in Strong Cobalt.  Stands 15" tall. 

     

    Exceptional Condition.  As made. No damage of any kind!  A small stone ping on stem in the making.
