Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this fantabulous 2 Gallon Butter Crock made and stamped by the "New York Stoneware Company, Fort Edward, N.Y."
This company was in operation in Fort Edward, New York from 1859-1885.
This beauty features a the Butter Crock Form Seldom Seen on New York Stoneware, the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Large Bird on a Branch created with a Slip Cup in Brilliant Cobalt. Measures 7 1/2" tall and 10 3/4" wide across the top.
The crock has it all- uncommon form, wonderful condition, and brilliant cobalt.
Excellent Condition. Some scattered light staining. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
