Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon 2 Gallon Merchant Script Jug made for "Neger & Kalb, 49 New York Ave., Newark, N.J."
 
This duo had this jug made at the Fulper Pottery in Flemington, N.J.  
 
I cannot find any other example of stoneware made for this merchant. 
 
Circa 1900 to 1920, this beauty features Four Lines of Fancy Cobalt Script in Strong Cobalt Neatly Centered on the Jug.  Stands 14 3/4" tall.  
 
Very Good Condition.  Some chips on the spout as shown.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
