Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Uncommon 4 Gallon Crock with a stamp that reads, "From McDonald & Benjamin, Cin. O." 
 
This beauty was made by McDonald and Benjamin in Cincinnati, Ohio about 1870.
 
This little jar features an Elaborately Tooled Rim, Applied Handles, Brushed Cobalt "Grape Cluster" Decoration on the Front and the Pottery Stamp on the Back.  Measures 10 1/2" tall and 11 1/2" wide across the top. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Two 1/4" flakes inside the rim.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
