Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Jug with Huge Bird.  
 
The decoration makes it easy to attribute this jug to Flack & Van Arsdale of Cornwall, Ontario, Canada (1869-1907). 
 
The jug is marked 3 for 3 gallon but is definitely a 4 gallon.  
 
This beauty features a Large Bird on a Branch Decoration.  The bird with its long tail feathers sits confidently in a swirly branch.  The decoration is executed with a slip cup. Stands 16" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A 1/4" chip inside the spout, a 5/8" chip on the right side of the handle, a 1/4" flake to the left of the decoration, and some staining from use.  No outer spout or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration. A couple stonepings on the shoulder in the making.
