Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made for "The Herrman-McLean Co., Grocers, Tea & Coffee, Cleveland, O."
 
It was made and stamped on the back bottom by the "Sherwood Bros. Pottery, New Brighton, PA". 
 
Circa 1900-1920, this beauty features a Two-Tone Glaze and Four Lines of Advertising in a Rectangular Border.   The label includes three subjects that are favorites with collectors:  grocer, tea, and coffee.  Stands 11 1/2" tall.
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  What looks like a chip on the right side of the spout is in the making and glazed over.
