Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this super Tiny 1 Gallon Stoneware Crock with Parrot on a Plume made and stamped by "Frank B. Norton & Co., Worcester, Mass."
 
This is the mark of Franklin Norton and Frederick Hancock during the period of 1858 to 1876 ("The F. B. Norton Pottery: Stoneware of Every Description." Worcester Historical Museum, 1980-1981).
 
This beauty features an Unusually Small Size, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and Parrot on a Plume Decoration.  This was one of Norton's signature decorations and is typically found with gorgeous cobalt like this crock exhibits.  Measures just 7 1/4" tall and 8 1/4" wide across the top. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Some light staining from the rim halfway down.  Otherwise, no chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
