Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Cream Pot made and stamped by "Edmands & Co."
This is the work of Edward and Thomas Edmands who ran the pottery in Charlestown, Massachusetts from 1852-1868 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 49).
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp and a Floral with Two Dangling Blossoms. The decoration is executed with a slip cup in bright and shiny cobalt. Overall, a simple, but impressive decoration! Stands 9" tall.
Good Condition. A 4 1/2" hairline on the back that wraps under 2 1/2" (closeup). No chips, cracks, stains, or restoration. A couple stone pings in the making.
