    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Pitcher.  

     

    Dating to the early 20th century and attributed to Texas, this beauty features a Canted Rim with Pinched Spout, Bulbous Body, Applied Handle, and a Sponged Cat's Paw Pattern in Dark Cobalt Repeated 10 Times Around the Middle.  Stands 9 3/4" tall.

     

    Very Good Condition.  Even glaze wear and chippage around the top of the rim a 1 1/2" hairline from the rim to the right of the spout (closeup), and a 3/8" chip near the bottom of the left side.   No rim or base chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
