Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 6 Gallon Stoneware Crock.

I have been told by older dealers that crocks with this exuberant floral were made by the Massillion Stoneware Company of Massillon, Ohio.  See https://ohiobottleclub.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/The-Massillon.pdf

Circa 1880, this beauty features a Large "6" Capacity Number Flanked by Dashes and an Imposing Daisy with Curvy Stem, 2 Leaves, and a blossom with 6 Petals.  The cobalt is bright and shiny and really stands out on the light salt glaze surface.  Measures 13" tall and 12" wide across the top.

Excellent Condition. A flat 1/4" chip on the left side near the base.  That's it!  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The chip on the left handle is in the making and glazed over.
