    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Crock from Ohio.

     

    Circa 1880, this beauty features an Exuberant Capacity Number Flanked by Dots and Dashes, and a Fancy Flower with Four Leaves and a "Spitting" Blossom.  All the decoration is accented with cobalt at the tips.  Stands 11 1/4" tall and 11" wide across the top.  

     

    Very Good Condition.  A minor 1/4" chip at the rim,  a shallow 3" vertical line at the bottom on the back that wraps under 2" (closeup), and some staining on the top and bottom.  No inner rim or base chips, rim-down hairlines, or restoration.
