Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Tall Stovepipe Wax Sealer Canning Jar. 
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features the Stovepipe Form with Tooled Rim with a Groove for Hot Wax, and Three Stripes Evenly Spaced Down the Front.  Stands 8 3/4" tall.
 
This is one of the tallest stovepipe stripers you will ever see. 
 
Very Good Condition.  Minor nibbles on the top with two chips on the inner rim (1/4", 1/2") and outside the top rim (1/4", 5/8"), and a small stain on the top in the back.  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
