Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this unusual 2 Gallon Stoneware Jug with Thistle Decoration.
I would attribute it to either New York or Central Pennsylvania.
Crica 1870, this beauty features a Brushed Cobalt Thistle with Seven Leaves and an Elaborate Thistle Fourteen Petals and Dotted Center. Stands 13 3/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. A 1/2" chip on the underside at the edge. That's it! No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
