Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware Wax Sealer Canning Jar from Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Circa 1870, this beauty features a very Carefully Tooled Grooved Rim to Hold the Hot Wax Sealant, Tapered Sides, and Four Brushed Cobalt Stripes Down the Front. Stands 8 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. Two contiguous 3/8" chips inside the rim. That's it! No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
