Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Wax Sealer.
Circa 1870 and made in Southwestern Pennsylvania, this beauty features the Tooled Rim with Groove to pour the hot wax sealant, and Three Stripes: Top and Bottom Straight Stripe and a Wavy Stripe in between. Stands 8 1/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. Minor wear on the inner rim, three 1/4" chips inside the outer rim, and a couple stain runs. No rim chips outside or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
