Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware Recumbant Lion Figural from Ohio.

Dating around 1870, this beauty features a Two-Level Step Base and a Regal Lion Resting Upon It! Albany slip glaze. Measures 6 3/4" long, 4" wide, and 4" tall.

Excellent Condition. An 1/4" chip on the top of the bottom step of the platform on the front, and a 1/2" chip on the underside at the edge. No chips to the lion, or any hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. What may look like chips at the base are glaze skips in the making.
