Item 13151

Coming to you is this Stunning 4 Gallon Stoneware Jug whose decoration indicates it originated in Ohio (my best guess!).

Circa 1870, this beauty features a Larger Size, Light Gray Salt Glaze, Capacity Number, and the Main Feature: a Large Brushed Cobalt Floral.  The floral features 6 leaves and two blossoms with 4 petals and 3 protruding stamin.  Bright cobalt on a light gray glaze means you will need sunglasses to view this one!  Stands 16 1/4" tall.

Excellent Condition.  A minor 1/4" chip on the right side of the spout.  Chipping on the underside edge in the back out of sight.  That's it!  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
