    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Preserve Jar from Southeastern Ohio.  

     

    Circa 1870, this beauty features a Heavy Constructdion with Tooled Rim, Applied and Cobalt-Accented Handles, and a Glorious Floral.  A large chrysanthemum anchors the floral's base.  Leaves move the decoration up to the left and another stem with a smaller blossom moves it up to the right.  The 3 capacity number nests in the center at the top.  Stands 12" tall.

     

    Very Good Condition.  Some glaze wear inside at the bottom, two 1" chips inside the rim in the back, with a 1" hairline from the rim on the backside (closeup).  No outer rim or base chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
