Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Stoneware Churn from Northeast Ohio.
Circa the 1860's, this beauty features a Tooled Rounded Rim, Tooled Shoulder, Applied Elongated Handles with Cobalt on the Front Terminal, and a Brushed Cobalt Flower with 9 Leaves and a Blossom with 8 Petals. Stands 14 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. Minor surface wear. Otherwise, no chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. The two runs on the right side are Albany slip from inside that ran during the manufacture.
