Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Ovoid Jug from Northeast Ohio.
 
Circa 1860, this beauty features an Ovoid Shape, Thick Wall Construction, and a Bold Brushed Cobalt 2 Capacity Number with Two Underscores.  Stands 12 3/4"  tall. 
 
Very Good Condition. A 3/8" narrow chip on the back of the spout and staining from use. No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A kiln touch/chip on the right side in the making.
