Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Ovoid Jar attributed to Ohio.
 
Circa 1850, this beauty features an Ovoid Shape, Squared Tooled Rim, Impressed Capacity Number with Cobalt Swipe, and a Brushed Cobalt Vine with Two Dangling Flower Blossoms.  Light gray glaze and rich cobalt for a pleasing contrast.  Measures 13" tall and 11" wide across the top.
 
Excellent Condition. A shallow 1/2" chip inside the rim.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Slightly convex on the bottom in the making.
