Coming  to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Decoration from Northeast Ohio.
 
Circa 1850, this beauty features a Tooled Rim, Applied Handles, Freehand Capacity Number and a Brushed Cobalt Tulip in Bright Blue.  Stands 14 1/2" tall. 
 
Very Good Condition. A 5/8" chip on the rim above the right handle and a  5" vertical hairline on the bottom of the left side (closeup). No inner rim or base chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A 1 1/2" surface/drying line at the base in the making.
