Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 1/2 Gallon Cream Pot  made for the Merchant, "W. T. Chaffey & Co., Agents, 26 Liberty St., Pitts."  
 
Chaffey had this piece  made in Greensboro, Pennsylvania by Hamilton and Jones for whom they were sales agents in Pittsburgh, PA.  
 
Circa 1880 this beauty features the Cream Pot Form, To; and Bottom Stripe, 5 Lines of Advertising, adn a Freehand Capacity Number Framed by Dashes.  Measures 9 1/2" tall and 8 1/2" wide across the top. 
 
Good Condition.  Some glaze loss inside at the bottom from use, three chips on the outside of the rim (1/4" to 1/2"), and an inbody hairline on the right side that does not reach top or bottom (closeup).  No inner rim or base chips, stains, or restoration.
