    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare Yellow Ware Pepper Pot.  

     

    Dating to the mid-19th century, this beauty has sports Fantastic Overall Yellow Coloration with White Top and a Double Red Band that Hosts a Delicate Black Leaf Garland.  Stands 4" tall.  

     

    You can see other rare yellow ware pepper pots in Lisa McAllister, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware, Book III, p. 58. 

     

    Very Good Condition.  A pinhead-size nibble on one opening on the top and a pinprick-size nibble on a couple other openings, a 3/8" chip under the rim (picture 4), and minor pinprick-size nips on the bottom of the footer.  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
