    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this rare Yellow Ware Umbrella Stand in the Gothic Windows Pattern.

     

    It was made by the Brush-McCoy Pottery of Ohio (1911-1923). 

     

    This beauty features Gothic Windows at the Top and Bottom with Vertical Columns in Between. The windows are colored in green and the columns in a yellow cream. Measures 18 1/2" tall and 9 1/2" wide.

     

    This piece is pictured in Terry Taylor and Terry & Kay Lowrance, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware, p. 238. This piece is rare and the only the third example I have ever had to sell.

     

    Excellent Condition. A minor 1/8" nibble on the body and a 1/2" chip at the base (closeup).  That's it! No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
