Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this rare Yellow Ware Umbrella Stand in the Gothic Windows Pattern.

It was made by the Brush-McCoy Pottery of Ohio (1911-1923).

Dating to the early 20th century, this beauty features Gothic Windows at the Top and Bottom with Vertical Columns in Between. The windows are colored in green and the columns in a yellow cream. Measures 18 1/2" tall and 9 1/2" wide.

This piece is pictured in Terry Taylor and Terry & Kay Lowrance, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware, p. 238. This piece is rare and the only the third example I have ever had to sell.

Excellent Condition. A minor 1/8" nibble on the body and a 1/2" chip at the base (closeup).  That's it! No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
