Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this splendid 3 Gallon Crock with the Monogram "SA"
 
This is the work of the Akron Stoneware Company founded in 1881.  See "'S/A What?'" by Brad Booth.  Red Wing Collectors Society Newsletter (April 2019), pp. 10-12.
 
This beauty features a Gray Salt Glaze, "3" Capacity Number and the Monogram "SA" used by the Akron Stoneware Company.  Measures 10 3/4" tall and 10 1/4" wide across the top.
 
Excellent Condition.  A quarter-size stain on the right side. That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  The chip on the bottom of the right side is in the making and glazed over.
