Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this splendid 4 Gallon Jug with the Monogram "SA"
 
This is the work of the Akron Stoneware Company founded in 1881.  See "'S/A What?'" by Brad Booth.  Red Wing Collectors Society Newsletter (April 2019), pp. 10-12.
 
This beauty features a Gray Salt Glaze, "4" Capacity Number with Double Underscore, and the Monogram "SA" used by the Akron Stoneware Company.  Stands 15 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A minor surface ping on the spout (closeup) and some staining the bottom in the back.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
