    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Fantastic Redware Scroddle Ware Presentation Teapot.

     

    It was made for "Mr. & Mrs. J. E. Hoyle" and presented at "Blackpool, Dec. 6, 1898."    

     

    This beauty features a Double Spout, Gorgeous Brown and Yellow Swirl Glaze, and the Presentation Information in Slip Added to the Shoulder on Each Side.  Stands 7 1/2" tall to the top of the finial, and 10" wide from the tip of the spouts to the tip of the handle.    

     

    Very Good Condition.  Minor nibbles and wear on the inner rim where the lid sits, an 1/8" flake on one spout tip and a 1/4" chip on the other, and some glaze crazing of age.  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  The lid had a single 1/4" chip on the very bottom edge.   on the top of the rim and the seating ring inside, and two tiny pinhead-size nibbles on the tip of one 

     

    If you collect scroddle ware, you will really like this piece!
