Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this whimsical "Salt Pig" or "Salt Kit" made and stamped by "A Schofield" at the Wetheriggs Pottery in Clifton Dykes, Cumbria, England.
 
Schofield made pottery in the 1930's and 1940's.  Similar pieces are found in the Museum of English Rural Life.
 
This beauty features the Hanging Salt Pig Form with Open Mouth, Finial, and White Slip Decoration.  Stands 9 1/4" tall.
