Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this rare 19th Century Redware Covered Jar.
This beauty features Blue and Orange Stripes on a Cream Colored Glaze with Matching Lid. Stands 5 1/4" tall.
Very Good Condition. The base has two small chips (1/8", 1/4") and some nibbles along the bottom edge. Otherwise as made. The lid has a 1/4" flake on the top edge, small nibbles around the bottom edge, and a tight "Y" hairline from the rim (closeup).
