Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Redware Shaving Mug.  
 
Dating to the 19th century, this mug features Inwardly Canted Sides with Two Embossed Bands, Inner Soap Holder, Applied Handle, and a Brown Speckled Glaze.  Measures 4 1/4" tall and 5 1/4" wide across the top.  
 
Very Good Condition.  A minor 1/8" flake in the inner soap holder, scattered small nibbles on the rim and base, and an invisible 1 1/4" hairline from the rim to the top band (closeup to show where, but it is invisible to the naked eye).  No restoration.
