Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar made by "Wilkinson and Fleming, Shinnston, W. VA."
 
Wilkinson & Fleming made stoneware in Shinnston from 1885-1895 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 100).
 
This beauty features Tooled Rim Designed to Tie a Cover Over the Top, and the Company Advertising Surrounding a Large Center Rose and Accented in the Top Corners by Sheaves of Wheat.  Stands 9 3/4" tall. 
 
Very Good Condition.  Some light staining and some surface wear to the left side of the rose.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
