Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jar made and stamped by "P. Herrmann."
This is the stamp of Peter Herrmann who made pottery on Eager Street in Baltimore from 1850-1872 (William Ketchum, American Stoneware, p. 98).
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp and Six Brushed Cobalt Three-Leaf Clovers Around the Shoulder. Stands 9 3/4" tall.
