Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Stoneware Crock that reads, "This Jar to be Used Only for Quinbys Cottage Cheese.  Registered. Deposit 25 cents"
 
Circa 1900 to 1920, this beauty features 6 Lines of Blue Stenciled Advertising.  Measures 5" tall and 8" wide across the top.
 
Excellent Condition.   A minor nibble inside the rim and two small chips on the base (1/8", 1/4").  That's it!  No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A 2" drying/firing line inside in the bottom at the outer edge in the making.
