Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Wax Sealer made and stenciled by the "Palatine Pottery Co., Palatine, W.VA." (Modern Fairmont)
Circa 1880, this beauty features a Tooled Grooved Rim for Pouring in the Wax as a Sealant, Light Gray Glaze, and the Company Stencil Surrounding a Large Pear. Obviously used to can pears! (bright huh!). Stands 8 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. Minor nibbles inside the rim. That's it! No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
