Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Stoneware Mini Jug that reads, "Compliments of Nelson & Newcomb, Darby, Pa., the Leading Grocery of Delaware County." 
 
This is a fine example of a stoneware premium given away to promote business.
 
Made about 1900, this beauty features Albany slip dip on the top and 5 lines of clear stenciled advertising.  Stands 3 1/4" tall.
 
Excellent condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  Typical manufacturing imperfections.
