Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Stoneware Mini Jug that reads, "Compliments of Atherton Bros., Dealer in Fancy Groceries, Main St., Taylor, Pa." 
 
This is a fine example of a stoneware premium given away to promote business.
 
Made about 1900, this beauty features Albany slip dip on the top and 5 lines of clear cobalt stenciled advertising.  Stands 3" tall.
 
Excellent condition.  Three flakes at the base on the left side (1/8" to 1/4"), and some light glaze crazing of age.  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
