Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Merchant Jug made for "John W. Burd, Fine Groceries, Trenton, N.J." 
 
Circa 1900 to 1920, this beauty features a Domed Form with Thick Shoulder Band, Albany Slip-Dipped Top, and Stenciled Label.  The advertising is crisply and completely applied.  Stands 9 1/2" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  A faint horizontal line in the handle near the base, and a 2" craze line below the brown on the left side.  No chips, body hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
