Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this little 1/2 Gallon Jug made for the merchant, "I. A. Garee & Co., Wines and Liquors, Market Street, W. Va."
It was made at a pottery in SW Pennsylvania- probably Greensboro.
Dating around 1880, this beauty features a desirable small size and 5 lines of stenciled advertising. The stenciling is crisp and complete. Stands 9 1/2" tall.
Excellent condition. A 1 1/4" chip on the heel in the back. Otherwise, as made.
