Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Wax Sealer Canning Jar made for the merchants, "Graham & Stone, Gen' Merchandise, Jackson C.H., W. VA."   
 
This pair ran a general store in Jackson Court House, West Virginia.
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features Two Top and One Bottom Stripe that Frame Four Lines of Stenciled Advertising Surrounding a Center Floral.  All the stenciling is complete, crisp, and executed in strong cobalt.  Stands 10 1/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A narrow 1/2" chip on the inner rim, three chips inside the outer rim (1/4" to 1/2"), and a narrow 1/2" chip on the underside at the edge.  That's it!  No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
