Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Stoneware Butter Crock that reads, "Compliments of G. A. Gohlmann, Miles, Iowa."
 
It was made by the Western Stoneware Company of Monmouth, Illinois.  
 
Dating to the early 20th century, this beauty features Diffused Blue Borders with Three Lines of Bold Stenciled Advertising.  Measures 5 1/2" tall ad 6" wide across the top.
 
Excellent Condition.  Three flat chips on the underside near the edge (1/4" to 1/2").  That's it!  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
