Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Stoneware 3 Pound Butter Crock that reads, "Compliments of Schroeder-Schultz Co., Postville, Iowa."
 
It was made in the early 20th century by the Western Stoneware Company of Monmouth, Illinois.  
 
This beauty features a Diffused Blue Coloration with the Advertising Stenciled on the Front in Bold Black Letters.  Retains its original handle.  Measures 5 1/2" tall and 5 3/4" wide across the top.
 
Very Good Condition.  A 3/8" shallow chip on the rim in front of the right handle holder, and two small chips on the front at the bottom (3/16", 3/8").  No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
