Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White 3 Pound Butter Crock that reads, "Compliments of David Steel, Buckeye, Iowa."
 
This crock was made by the Western Stoneware Company of Monmouth, Illinois in the early 20th century.
 
This beauty features Diffused Coloration, a Strong and Crisp Stencil, and Original Handle and Lid.  Stands 5 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition. Two minor 1/8" nibbles on the base edge.  That's it!  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The lid is mint.
