Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Butter Crock made for "George Lanen, Grocer, So'Groveland" (Massachusetts).  
 
This crock comes with a post card that pictures Lanen's Grocery Store and Post Office! 
 
This beauty features a Butter or Cake Crock form with Impressed Advertising Washed in Cobalt.  Measures 5 3/4" tall and 10" wide across the top.  
 
Excellent Condition.  A few minor nibbles and a 1/2" chip inside the rim, and a few minor nibbles on the bottom edge.  That's it!  No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
