Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Salt Glaze Butter Crock made and stamped by the "Donaghho Co., Parkersburg."
 
This is the work of A. P. Donaghho who ran his pottery in Parkersburg, WV from 1874-1900.
 
This beauty features a Large Butter Crock Form, Thick Tooled Rim, Appliled Handles, and the Capacity Number Framed by Dots with the Pottery Advertising Stenciled Below.  Measures 9 1/4" tlal and 11 1/2" wide across the top. 
 
Excellent Condition.  A single 1/4" chip on the bottom fold of the tooled rim.  Otherwise, as made!
 
As you know, a large butter crock like this is an unusual form and size for this maker.  Comes from an Ohio estate.
