Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Wax Sealer Canning Jar made for the merchant "D. W. Rhodes, Dealer in Gen. Merchandise, Cottageville, W. V."
 
This beauty features the Wax Sealer Form with Tooled Grooved Rim and Five Lines of Stenciled Advertising.  Stands 8" tall.
 
Good Condition.  Minor nibbles and a 1" chip on the inner rim, a 3/8" flake inside the outer rim, a 4" diagonal hairline on the left side that wraps under 2" (closeup), and some staining from use.  No outer rim or base chips or restoration.
