Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Primitive Stoneware 5 Gallon Churn made in Southeastern Ohio.

 

Circa 1880, this beauty features a Slightly Bulbous Form, Elaborately Tooled Rim and Neck, Applied Handles, and Rich Salt Glaze.  Stands 16 1/4" tall. 

 

Excellent Condition.  A 1/2" flake on the rim above the left handle and minor chips around the edge of the same handle.  No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. Typical manufacturing imperfections.
