Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Water Cooler from Baltimore, Maryland.  Most likely made by Peter Herrmann.

 

Circa 1870, this beauty features a Small Size, Cylindrical Form, Squared Rim, Double Brushed Cobalt Tulip in Bright Cobalt on  Each Side, and a Spigot Hole with Cobalt Trim.  Measures 8 3/4" tall and 9 3/4" wide across the top.  

 

Excellent Condition.  Minor nibble on the left handle, a 3/4" chip on the right handle, and two 3/8" chips on the frame of the spigot hole.  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A 2" drying/firing line inside that made a faint 1" hairline outside in the making (closeups).
