    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this most unusual 2 Gallon Jar from Baltimore, Maryland.  

     

    Dating around 1870, this beauty features an Incised Line Around the Shoulder Filled with Cobalt from which Four Clusters of Stylized Grapes.  Not a typical decoration for Baltimore jars.  Stands 12 3/4" tall.

     

    Very Good Condition. Three flat 1/4" flakes inside the rim, a minor 1/2" surface ping line at the base, and a 7" horizontal line 1" above the base (closeup).  No outer rim or base chips, stains, or restoration.
