Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Jar from Baltimore, Maryland.
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Squared Rim with Groove for Ease of Tying a Cover Over the Top, Applied Handles with Cobalt at the Terminals, and a Double Floral on Each Side.  The floral consist of a center stem with 4 leaves and 2 blossoms with 7 to 9 petals.  Stands 13 1/2" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  A narrow 2" row of minor nibbles and a 1/4" flake on the rim (closeup), and three chips under each handle.  No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
